Creating community, whether in my studio or in my home, brings me immense joy. I have a natural inclination to share what I know; maybe even a little too much sometimes! My love for nurturing extends beyond the studio into my kitchen, where I enjoy cooking, and my downtime, often spent lost in movies (almost conquered Netflix, now tackling Prime!). With a lifelong passion for dance, from childhood through my first business as a dance company, movement and connection are deeply ingrained in who I am. While I thrive in these shared spaces, I also cherish my quiet moments for recharging, ready for the next opportunity to build community and share my love of Pilates, the MELT Method and other modalities connected to wellness. I look forward to meeting you.

I feel very lucky to do what I love and make my passion my profession. My day job is in IT, and I love all about technology, gadgets, and solving complex problems with it. I started to do Pilates over 8 years ago as a complete newbie with no background in dancing or any other sports activities. To be honest, I even skipped gym workouts pretty often. And I loved it! Completely selfishly, I went through a Pilates teacher training with Kim to get a more advanced level of Pilates. And here I am. I love teaching and share the benefits of Pilates with others. I live in Hell’s Kitchen long enough to call it my home. I love the community and people here. It feels good to open the studio in my neighborhood. I’m also a new mom to my puppy, Lucky. He’ll assist me in my classes sometimes. Looking forward to seeing you in the studio!

  • I bring a spontaneous, fun, and undeniably challenging energy to my teaching. After a long career as a contemporary dancer; you might even spot me ballroom dancing in a few movies with HK Pilates co-founder Kim V!  I've spent nearly a decade sharing my movement wisdom with actors at NYU Tisch Drama. Now, with almost two decades of Pilates teaching under my belt, I'm also a certified MELT instructor. So, whether I'm channeling my inner indie author, frustrated comic, or wannabe podcaster, you can bet my classes will keep you on your toes! It may be the most authentic core workout you'll get from all of the belly laughs I will provide!!

With comprehensive classical training since 2012 and a decade of teaching movement in the NYC public school system, I bring a unique perspective to my classes. My personal experience with Pilates during pregnancy has fueled my specialization and passion in pre/postnatal work. Outside the studio, I'm a Brooklyn mom of two boys, a lover of pizza, a spectator at the playground, and a fan of solo dining, documentaries, and a good dance.

  • Originally a sunny San Diegan now living on the UWS, I've been sharing my passion for Pilates for seven years with all sorts of amazing clients. Before finding my way to the mat, I had a blast as an actor and singer, performing in Tokyo, on cruise ships, and even with Disney! When I'm not in the studio, you can usually find me reading in the sun or hanging out with my two adorable dogs, Penny the dachshund and Arwen the rescue mix. I truly believe in the power of Pilates to connect your mind and body, and while I love the Classical Method, I also enjoy weaving in some contemporary moves to create a workout that leaves you feeling both strong and restored. Pilates is for everyone, and I can't wait to move with you! Oh, and my guilty pleasure? Reality dating shows – don't tell anyone!

  • I was introduced to Pilates while studying Modern Dance at Texas Christian University as I was dealing with a chronic back injury. Within two months of taking Pilates classes twice weekly, my injury healed, my core became stronger, and I felt like myself again! Since then, I have dived deep into Pilates pedagogies, psycho-therapies, and somatic therapies - all connecting the mind, body, and spirit. As a certified Pilates instructor and registered dance/movement therapist, I bring an empathetic and holistic approach to moving with each person. Outside of the Pilates studio, I am a professional dancer and singer paving my path towards Broadway! Hell's Kitchen is my home and I am excited to share Pilates with fellow Hell's Kitchen residents.

  • Movement has been my lifelong language. As a professional dancer, actor, and Pilates instructor originally from Argentina and now based in NYC, I’m passionate about helping people feel strong, connected, and at home in their bodies—no matter their age, background, or experience level.

I specialize in creating accessible, creative, and inclusive classes for all populations, including older adults, people with visual impairments, and pre/post-natal clients. My teaching blends anatomical awareness with expressive movement, always rooted in care, curiosity, and joy. Whether I’m teaching on the mat or the reformer, in a studio or a senior center, I aim to offer a space where people feel seen, supported, and empowered to move with confidence.

In addition to my Pilates certifications, I am a professional dancer, graduated from the Martha Graham School. I now dance tango, jazz, contemporary, and more—performing across all five boroughs of NYC.

  • After becoming sick on a trip to India to study yoga in 2004, my body began to break down. I pulled my hamstring badly, and keep re-injuring it whenever I tried to teach yoga. Limping and depressed, I stumbled into a class with Sue Hitzmann, the Creator of the MELT Method. By the end of the class, I knew I had found a new way to heal myself. I took the next MELT Training and never looked back! After teaching MELT classes, workshops, and private sessions for over a decade, I became a MELT Master Instructor in 2016.

My goal is to give people hope that their body wants to heal, and to teach them the simple tools that were so helpful to me on my own healing journey. Outside the studio, I am the homeschooling mom of a teenage daughter who loves to dance and MELT her feet!

  • My passion in life revolves around art, healthy living, and various sports. From a young age, I've explored different athletic pursuits, with a particular focus on competitive cross-country and downhill skiing, as well as ballroom dance. While I've tried many sports, Pilates has become a true love and passion of mine. I've even introduced it to my teenage sons and friends, who've discovered its benefits firsthand. I firmly believe that a healthy, active lifestyle is key to a happier, more fulfilling life.

  • Originally from Poland, with chapters in Copenhagen and London before settling in New York City, each place has shaped my perspective in its own unique way.

My connection to movement began in childhood through ballet and ballroom dance, instilling a deep appreciation for discipline, body awareness, and expressive control.

Throughout these transitions and alongside my career in finance  movement has remained a quiet constant. Hence, I was naturally drawn to Pilates—it felt like an organic continuation of my early training and a perfect counterbalance to the pace and structure of corporate environment. It eventually led me to pursue formal training and to become a certified instructor.

As Joseph Pilates said, “It is the mind itself which shapes the body.” For me, Pilates is more than a physical practice—it’s a way of connecting inward, cultivating strength, and restoring balance in both body and mind.

ABOUT PILATES

Pilates is a method of physical and mental exercise involving stretches and breathing that focus on strengthening the abdominal core. It was developed by Joseph Pilates in 1920s and originally called "Contrology" emphasizing the harmonious connection between mind and body. By engaging deep stabilizing muscles and promoting mindful movement, Pilates goes beyond traditional exercise to cultivate improved posture, balance, flexibility, and overall body awareness. It's a sophisticated approach to fitness that empowers you to move with greater efficiency and ease in your daily life.

The Pilates method is guided by six principles that enhance its effectiveness.

  • Centering: Engaging your deep core muscles (abdominals, back, pelvic floor) as the foundation for all movement.

  • Concentration: Paying close mental attention to each exercise to ensure proper form and muscle activation.

  • Control: Performing movements with deliberate muscle engagement, avoiding relying on momentum.

  • Precision: Focusing on accuracy and correct alignment in each exercise for optimal results.

  • Breath: Coordinating your inhales and exhales with the movements to support efficiency and flow.

  • Flow: Moving smoothly and continuously from one exercise to the next, creating a fluid sequence.

By consistently engaging in Pilates, you'll not only develop a stronger core but also enhance your coordination, reduce the risk of injury, and cultivate a deeper understanding of your body's potential.
